The Valparaíso development is located in the heart of the Spanish capital. It is an exclusive residential complex whose hallmark design features a skilful combination of natural elements.

With a total of 17 homes, swimming pool, sun terrace, gymnasium and garage, this 6 storey building fits in perfectly with contemporary building styles.

The design is based on a single harmonious concept in which the façade, interiors and exteriors reflect a natural appearance featuring pure, uncomplicated lines and a sophisticated air. However, each area in the complex has been created specifically to meet the building’s functional needs.

In order to create a sense of harmony and continuation to the various settings, 4 different textures were chosen that blend cleverly together to form a perfect combination of elements: stone, wood, cement and metal effects

Our first glimpse of the use of stone effect ceramic tiles is on the façade, which features the Brancato collection; superbly subtle stone reliefs that add an air of distinction to the building. The effect is continued in the hall and communal area thanks to the use of stone effect ceramic tiles from the Nature collection. As we move through the interior of the building, the effect becomes more evident thanks to the shade variation that is a hallmark feature of these tiles.

Inside the homes, the bolder metal effect stands out against the sobriety of cement and stone effects thanks to the skilful mix of tiles from the Future, Nature and Jazz collections.

The interiors of all 17 homes have been fully personalised and feature the materials selected by each customer. As a result, no two flats are the same. This is a bespoke development designed exclusively for its inhabitants, tailored à la carte in accordance with their tastes and needs.

Finally, the exterior features wood effect ceramic tiles in order to create a calm and relaxed environment. Tiles from the Portobello collection feature on the terraces, whilst the Madeira collection with its anti-slip finish was chosen for the pool area, providing an effective technical solution for this zone as well as a natural aesthetic look to please the eye.

Azulejos Peña, specialists in the supply of ceramic tiles, advised Pecsa construction company on the choice of materials for this project.
