Uptown Art collection, a new wall covering with a lace print

Ceramic tile design currently finds itself at a unique moment. The search for new sources of inspiration, along with constant exploration of the possibilities offered by the latest technologies in the quest for brilliant new pieces, has resulted in a new generation of products capable of assuming the main role in an environment. Creativity and the breaking of design barriers know no limits, and Uptown Art is a clear example of that.

This unique collection draws its inspiration from the look of embroidered fabric. In order to achieve the exquisite finish seen on each piece, the Keraben design team made an outstanding selection of lace patterns done by the best fashion designers, in order to finally settle on their own, unique design. After digitalising the graphics, each pattern was laboured over in order to perfectly fit with the relief and, at the same time, offer continuity beyond the format of the individual pieces.

The use of varying intensities of the same colour, together with the use of different applications in glossy and matte finishes, has produced one of the most beautiful ceramic tile collections, one that faithfully reproduces the print of the finest embroidered fabric.
