The Bazán house, a complete renovation project in Valencia

With a surface area of about 200 m², the possibilities for this complete renovation project were endless. This 70s house still had its original finishes and layout. Therefore, the main purpose of this project was to adapt all the spaces to suit the current needs of the owners. There were two clear objectives: increased light and a better quality interior.

The spaces are laid out in such a way that the daytime area is clearly separated from the night-time area, which has a more intimate character. These spaces are joined by a spacious corridor, which features access furniture and illumination that was carefully chosen for its appearance. In this corridor, the guest toilet is hidden behind an integrated panel, as is the access to the kitchen. This makes the focal point the living-dining room, which can be seen at the rear, through a door that has a displaced axis.

The Bazán house has three exterior walls that made up entirely of windows. When the rooms are laid out correctly, this allows light to be a main feature in each of them.

The wall and floor tiles in one of the bathrooms belong to the Mixit collection by Keraben. The kitchen floor tiles are from Stoneage series by Metropol.
